Designed to seamlessly integrate with your existing shower fixtures. It's compatible with most other shower heads so you can use your own. As long as your shower head uses the standard US half-inch National Pipe Thread (NPT), then it will fit. No need to compromise on looks or feel if you already have the most perfect shower head, just add the filter.
Choose the filter alone or elevate your shower and pair it with the BOROUX Shower Head. The shower head has five different spray settings for the spray pattern of your choosing. It's adjustable on a ball-and-socket swivel for just the right angle. Perfectly matching the shower filter it's a classy, crisp, clean look.
We know that healthy habits have to be easy to implement. Showering is easy, we do it everyday. Installing a filter for a better shower experience should be just as easy. No need to call a plumber to allocate an entire weekend to renovating. The filter just screws onto the shower arm and the shower head screws onto the shower filter. Hand-tightening only. The system comes with black sealing washers to prevent leaking. What is is made of?
Inside the filter is made of a high-purity copper-zinc alloy and calcium sulfite. This is the trusted ingredient combination of choice in the water filter industry. Notably effective at reducing chlorine because of its oxidation-reduction capabilities. The filter causes the electrons of the contaminants to transfer to different molecules. In this specific instance, the electrons on the chlorine molecules are transferred and what's left is harmless chloride.
What does it filter?
The primary focus and purpose of the BOROUX Shower Filter is to filter chlorine. Up to 98% of free chlorine is reduced. You wouldn't shower in bleach, so why wouldn't you filter your shower?
Copper-zinc alloy and calcium sulfite filters are proven to filter heavy metal contaminants like lead, mercury, and nickel. The BOROUX Shower Filters has not yet officially tested for these contaminants.
How long does it last?
Get consistent chlorine reduction for up to three months or approximately 1,585 gallons, depending on water quality, flow rate, and usage. The maximum operating temperature for the Shower Filter is rated at 120°F. To avoid scalding in the shower, the temperature should not exceed 110°F. Sustained performance for a great shower experience.
