Quality water is foundational to health, so of course you want to secure your hydration by bringing your BOROUX with you. Traveling with a water filter a commitment to wellness that's well worth it. The commonly heard phrase "don't drink the water in ______," usually has some truth to it. Don't gamble with your health, trust your water by filtering your water.
BOROUX water filter systems are, and always have been, intentionally designed to be portable. The upper chamber nests into the lower chamber for convenient packing. The smaller footprint of a nested system ensures that the valuable, limited real estate of a suitcase or camper, isn't comprised.

Tips for Packing a BOROUX
- Carefully take your system apart and dry all parts and pieces.
- The stainless steel chambers nest perfectly inside each other, with ample space for all parts and pieces! We recommend placing small parts in a little container, such as a zip-top bag, to keep them together.
- BOROUX Filters typically dry out either by setting them out for 24+ hours. Once dry seal in zip-top bag and pack into the system, or tote, with padding! Towels work great as a cushion.
- Prime your filters once you arrive at your destination. For a seamless experience, don't forget to pack your Automatic Filter Primer.
Do not transport a BOROUX with filters installed.
When moving from point A to point B, make sure your BOROUX is secure. If your filter stems break they'll need to be replaced. To prevent the stems from snapping off always keep the BOROUX straight up and down. Never set the chambers on its side while the filters are inside. If concerned about bumpy or windy roads you can remove the filters, unscrew the wing nuts, wrap the filters in a towel and place inside the upper chamber.

The entirety of your water filtration system can be packed up within itself so you have reliably clean water wherever. Can't say that about a whole-house system. If you're flying, the 1.8-gallon Compact system is carry-on size.
